SPECIMEN CARE

How to care for your specimen after bringing it home.

HEAT

  • Never store your specimens near a heat source, direct sunlight or an open flame.

  • Do not place on a mantle or above a fire place.  

  • Some items are extremely flammable. 

  • It can also cause specimens to dry out.

WET SPECIMEN CARE

  • All specimens are fixed/injected with Alcohol.

  • Fluid changes can be 70% or 90% alcohol. ***Please wear protective eye wear, mask and glasses when changing fluids. **** 

  • If you get any chemicals on your skin or in your eyes, wash it immediately with water. Please contact your doctor if needed. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • All specimens are ethically sourced and not killed for any items I make. 

  • All specimens are kept frozen until ready to be prepared. 

  • EVERYTHING is respected and honored after death.
